A PERFECT PARTNERSHIP
When long-term fst client Avis launched an exclusive partnership with Iberia, the national airline in Spain, they approached fst to ask for help to increase bookings and to improve awareness of the two brands and their partnership.
Inspired by the value of such a partnership, fst worked with Avis and Iberia to develop a celebration of the two brands via an integrated social media campaign, which mirrored the ‘friendship’ between both companies.
The large-scale campaign invited users to submit a video or written entry to nominate their friends for a chance to win a share of 1,000,000 Avios. The campaign was supported with inflight ads, e-mail marketing and a microsite, resulting in data capture and repeat custom for both brands.
The results speak for themselves, with 5.5 million people reached through social media alone. This generated over 110,000 engagements on social media platforms, as well as 50,000 visits to the campaign website.
WE WANTED TO ADD THAT EXTRA DIMENSION TO THE CAMPAIGN TO ENSURE MAXIMUM EXPOSURE. INTEGRATING VIDEO SUBMISSIONS WITH SOCIAL CHANNELS GAVE THE CAMPAIGN THE AMPLIFICATION WE WERE LOOKING FOR.
